Phil Weiser wins the governorship and John Hickenlooper wins a second Senate term, and Democrats lead every other statewide race in Colorado
The Associated Press called Colorado's governor's race for Attorney General Phil Weiser and the state's Senate race for Senator John Hickenlooper at 7 p.m. Colorado time, as the polls closed. The Associated Press count had Weiser at 1,221,673 votes and Republican Victor Marx at 660,600 as of 9:30 p.m. Colorado time, with an estimated 70.6 percent of the vote counted. In the Senate race, the Secretary of State's count had Hickenlooper at 1,194,874 votes, 60.94 percent, and Republican Mark Baisley at 686,313, 35 percent. Democrats also lead the races for attorney general, secretary of state and treasurer, and none of those three races has been called. Colorado counters had counted 2,022,581 ballots statewide, 49.5 percent of active voters, as of 9:30 p.m. Colorado time.

Weiser succeeds Governor Jared Polis, who is term limited after eight years in office, and Democrats have now won the Colorado governorship in six straight elections, dating back to 2006. Marx, a ministry founder and Marine Corps veteran, was the Republican nominee. Hickenlooper, a former governor himself, wins a second term in the Senate over Baisley, a state senator.
Below them, the pattern held. For attorney general, Democrat Jena Griswold had 1,140,427 votes, 59.10 percent, to Republican Michael Allen's 789,111, 40.90 percent, in the Secretary of State's count as of 9:30 p.m. Colorado time. For secretary of state, Democrat Amanda Gonzalez had 1,171,123 votes, 60.46 percent, to Republican James Wiley's 714,220, 36.87 percent. For treasurer, Democrat Jeff Bridges had 1,140,479 votes, 59.20 percent, to Republican Kevin Grantham's 742,471, 38.54 percent. All three races are marked not yet called, and counting continues. Colorado voters who had signature problems on their mail ballots can fix them until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, so close races in the state can still move after tonight.
